How To Take Apart Your CPU


  • Using a small drill bit drill a hole in the metal cover on the bottom of the CPU.
    CAUTION:- Drill bit can be damaged by drilling into the ceramic.
  • Once the hole has been drilled a small screwdriver can be inserted an the lid prised off.
  • The silicon chip is now revealed !

  • The top right hole hit the ceramic so a second hole had to be drilled.
